Community champions continued today with one of the most outgoing personalities in Grayson County - Mayor Sherry Howard from Tom Bean and Sarah Somers, Emergency Management Coordinator for Grayson County. Mayor Howard has been very involved with MOWOT and currently serves as our Board Chair. Sarah Somers has also been a huge help to us, providing expert guidance in our emergency preparedness planning and coordinating disaster relief in winter months when snow and ice prevented us from delivering meals. The two local leaders were delivering meals for the Whitewright Senior Center located at 123 W. Grand St. in Whitewright.
